On August 14th, on Causeway Beach, the first annual West Island Wacky Regatta was held.
And the results are in!!!!
1st Place: A boat named "Save the Earth" , built by Emily Esten and Greg Squillante. Emily captained the boat into first place.
2nd Place: A boat named "Sink or Swim", built and captained by Marc Dunn.
3rd Place: A boat named "The Cookie Monster", built by Shannon, Mike, Zack, and Sam. Zach Dean captained the boat.
4thPlace: A boat named "Whatgamadinghy II", built by Bob, Sean, and Randy. Shawn and Randy captained the boat.
5th place: A boat named "3 tubs of Fun", built by Grace Barnes, Diane and Roland Leblanc. Grace captained the boat.
